Job Description:

Our Federal Government client here in Ottawa, Ontario (Canada) has one (1) long term contract opportunity available for a Telecommunication support consultant. You must be bilingual (English / French) and must possess at least a Reliability Status level security clearance. If interested please apply directly to derek.weber@experis.com

  • Provide technical support, both remotely and onsite, for wireless data and voice services
  • Creation and publishing BlackBerry 10 and 4G modem documentation and user guides
  • Review, evaluate and maintain telecommunication facilities including toll free applications
  • Support, design review, and monitoring of voice recognition systems
  • Monitor and maintain Toll Free Call Detail Reporting system
  • Analyse and interpret user requirements to provide advice and recommendations to meet user needs in the following areas: Voice mail (IVMS/TVMS), cabling, fax, ACD, UCD, IVR
  • Provided onsite, phone & email support to internal clients such as setting up new users' accounts and profiles, including access permissions and resetting passwords as well as security back-ups and recovery
  • Perform onsite, phone & email support for mobile devices & laptops as well as Centrex Bell desk phones
  • Working with Assyst and Helpvision trouble ticket management systems
  • Maintain Air advantage wireless devices Software upgrades
