Job Description:

Our client in Ottawa (Ontario) has three (3) eighteen (18) month contract opportunities (with extensions) available for IT service desk support professionals. You must be bilingual (English / French) to be considered. You must possess a valid Secret security clearance. If interested please apply directly to

  • Perform trouble-shooting and problem resolution services for desktop hardware, software, peripherals, and mobile devices
  • Providing IT and network support and maintenance including adding/deleting client accounts
  • Take ownership with providing desk-side support to end-users to trouble-shoot and resolve problems
  • Deploying, troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite and various email client software
  • Work with a ticketing management tool, updating, assigning, escalating and monitoring incidents
  • Providing client support for Video conferencing equipment and services
  • Supporting operating systems, application software and various software automation tools and utilities
  • Identifying, escalating and tracking problem tickets associated with specific operating system images
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation
  • Performing initial problem analysis and working with other appropriate staff as required to determine resolution
  • Maintaining liaison with network users and technical staff to communicate the status of problem resolution to network users
