Data Analyst (Cybersecurity)
We are currently hiring "Data Analyst" to drive optimization/automation/improvements on Cybersecurity reporting capabilities as well as supporting reporting activities.
This is 100% remote work and consultant should be residing in Canada and not require any sponsorship for employment.
The initial contract is for duration of 6 months with possibility of extension.
The goal is to obtain and automate the appropriate data to provide a complete picture of Cyber security activities and associated risks in an efficient manner:
Design, merge and streamline existing reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data reporting.
Provide the appropriate data mapping for the ETL specifications and/or for various data ingestion processes.
Define and document data dependencies and data flow diagrams of the solution developed.
Data Analytical skills
5-8years of IT technology or operations experience in a large company(process/systems)
Certifications in Data Management and Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence
Strong knowledge of SQL and ETL for analytics, data mining and data manipulation.
Strong knowledge with experience in Databases such SQL (1000 +etc.) and ETL Excel - Advanced (Macros, pivot tables, formulas, functions)
Experience in working with Big data (i.e.Snowflake)
Working knowledge in Business information systems (i.e Power BI etc)
Knowledge of GRC applications
Core business skills - presentation/analytical/reporting
Experience in project management and coordination an asset
Knowledge of GRC applications
REQUIRED SKILLS
Automate and Optimize data by consolidating and structuring the data
Strong analytical and analysis skills to extract insights and recommendations.
Collect, organize, and analyze large sets of data.
Develop and optimize data analysis processes, tools, and reports.
Map and document complex business processes including control points, key data and reporting elements.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in rapidly changing environments or uncertain conditions.
Capable of solving complex problems by using a logical, systematic, and sequential approach
